I got these turquoise beads a while ago and I never got to use them but since starting the silver jewellery course, I’ve been feeling more confident using silver. And I definitely prefer using precious metals when working with precious gemstones.

These earrings are the perfect dainty addition to your collection. They are pure understated elegance and will go with any outfit. These pieces are ideal for those of you who prefer daintier, classic styles. And, there is only one pair available so it’s definitely unique!

I made these earrings by wrapping sterling silver wire around turquoise drop beads and added Czech glass fire-polished beads in silver to complete the look. The ear hooks are hand-formed sterling silver wire which I hammered to give a slightly flat, uneven texture.

Turquoise gemstones are associated with December birthdays so this is definitely the perfect gift for those December babies! This stone has long been prized as a powerful talisman which is believed to have healing properties. The belief behind it is that it can help balance the blue throat chakra which enhances the ability to communicate and increases resistance to viruses, helping to relieve sore throats and allergies. Wow! Not a bad stone to carry around during these Covid times!
