I had bought these amethyst beads a while ago and I never got to use them but since I’ve been doing the silver jewellery course, I’ve been feeling more confident using silver. And with these precious gemstones, I prefer using precious metals!

These earrings are the perfect dainty addition to your collection. They are pure understated elegance and will go with any outfit. These pieces are ideal for those of you who prefer daintier, classic styles.

I made these earrings by wrapping sterling silver wire around amethyst drop beads and added sterling silver beads and rainbow crystal Swarovski beads to complete the look. The ear hooks are hand-formed sterling silver wire which I hammered to give a slightly flat, uneven texture.

Amethyst is the February birthstone so this will certainly be a perfect gift item for those February babies. What’s more, this beautiful gemstone helps relieve stress and strain, soothes irritability, balances mood swings, dispels anger, rage, fear and anxiety.
